Sorry for the double post, but in addition to listing 10 games, I thought it would be interesting to hear why everyone chose the top 5 games. Just a line or two about why it made your top 5 games for the system.

Well I didn't really list them in order. But if I had to pick a top 5, it would probably be something like this:

1. Halo
2. Amped 2
3. Halo 2
4. Crimson Skies
5. Voodoo Vince

Halo was the first game I really really loved for the XBOX. The campaign was just really fun, and multiplayer was a blast. That was the game everyone could learn how to play and that everyone liked playing.

Amped 2 is just really fun.

Halo 2...the campaign sucks compared to the first Halo. But multiplayer, especially on XBL, rocks. It's the best XBL game IMO.

Crimson Skies is cool in that you don't just fly. You also get to shoot from turrets and from blimps and stuff. It's just a lot of fun.

And Voodoo Vince...very cool platformer. The whole idea of using voodoo is fun! And the voice-acting is hilarious.

Um, Jade empire is an awesome game lemme tell ya'. My top 10 in no specific order..

1.Halo
2.Halo 2
3.K.o.t.o.r
4.Doom 3
5.Ninja Gaiden
6.Crimson Skies
7.Otogi 1 and 2
8.Morrowing GOTY
9.any of the splinter cell games
10.Jade empire

Eh, my top five....I just felt like these games pushed barriers, and graphically otogi 2 slaughters the barrier. If that makes sense...
1.Otogi 2
2.Halo 2
3.K.o.t.o.r
4.Ninja Gaiden
5.Doom 3

1. Samurai Shodown V

[rant]And for those who are wondering, yes I did waste $55 + tax on Halo 2.  While it is my most frequently played game, the campaign was subpar and the multiplayer, having some pros such as making parties with friends, is full of cheating, lagging, undeserving of life children that infest it like a ravenous cancer.  Bungie's "fixes" just made things 100x worse, the game is extremely unbalanced, is poorly programmed, is poorly designed, has horrible lag problems, has horrible physics, is incredibly unrealistic, is inconsistent at everything, is designed for those who enjoy cheating and using cheap tactics, and should be considered the second largest flop in the history of gaming (Manhunt takes first).[/rant]

Hahaha, yeah Stealth, you're right. I've played with him before. Everytime he died he had a different excuse for how the physics engine should never have allowed that to happen. :D :lol

I think Trkorecky's just sour cuz he's no good at Halo 2's multiplayer. :lol
Exactly.  I prefer games that actually have collision detection and aren't full of lag and cheaters.  Games where the company cared enough to actually bug test and FIX the bugs they've programmed in the game. Didn't know that liking quality games was a bad thing :p

Didn't know that liking quality games was a bad thing

Well now you know. :lol

I had a friend who really liked Halo because he was really good (and I mean really good) at getting headshots with the pistol. Argueably the pistol was way over powered and should not have been able to do that. Either way, when Halo 2 came out he hated it because headshots weren't an instant kill anymore. What he failed to understand was that Halo 2 was about teamwork, tactics, and strategy, not just about who could manipulate their joysticks the best. :p

I'm not saying this is you trkorecky, I'm just saying that Halo 2 is fine just the way it is. Its just not your typical twitch shooter.

Not really. Halo 2 is about who can use the cheapest tactics, who has the slowest internet connection, and what team is best at whoring out the one hit kill weapons. There is no skill involved, most teamwork is eliminated by the unbalanced weapon set, lag, or rediculous gametypes, and tactics and strategy all fall into being cheap and whoring out the one hit kill weapons.
