Amazing. Simply amazing. What next? People buying a PS3 or 360 and being followed home and having their house robbed??

I remember when the 360 launched, and how the Casa Grande, Az police were escorting customers to tehir cars after buying them. They're just consoles!!

And why doesn't a Xbox360 get stolen? Poor Sony......Poor Sony. :'( :'(

because Microsoft actually provides enough consoles to go around, they dont need to be stolen, theres enough for everybody.

Why would you steal a PS3? They're absolutely abysmal. It's not like they're scarce or anything.

Although, there was a time when you could not find a 360. Took about 5-6 months after launch until they were readily available!

I agree. The PS3 is pretty sweet. I just bought a nice TV to play the Blu-Ray Movies on it (also HD-DVD Movies also, but not through that add-on for the 360). The games will pick-up, just like all consoles; there is a slow period after launch. I do seem to be playing more PS2 Games on my PS3 than PS3 Games though. And I just picked up Gears of War again last week since it was sitting in my collection for 4 months unplayed (mostly thanks to Rainbow Six: Vegas).

I hope they're not stealing them to sell them. Good luck finding anyone who wants one. :lol

This is not a crack on Sony... but Strubes... that is the truth! AND how do you sell 150-180 PS3 systems AND NOT GET CAUGHT. See... unless they start pawning them, selling them on the streets...etc... dropping 180 Ps3's on Ebay would be a red flag. IT would be hard to unload 180 Ps3 systems and not be noticed.

It is VERY suprising. If it wasn't for the Ps2 selling hotter than ever, I think Sony would be a little worried. Notice... the PS2 is still selling hard... AND there have been stock outtages of Ps2's... while the Ps3 can't be moved.

Crazy.

the PSP isn't fairing too right now. Even though reports say Sony is ahead, They are sure giving Nintendo and Microsoft a good round to catch up.

Well, have you ever met a smart criminal?? I haven't.

As for the PS2 selling like crazy, I went to a local store to pick up a silver PS2. Cash in hand. The dozen that were there the day before was GONE!! Seven PS3s lay quietly beside the hole that was once a bunch of PS2s. But in my humble opinion, the PS3 will gain momentum by the end of this year unless there is a mass exidus of third party support.

As for the PSP, I read somewhere that shipping numbers were down like 72% over last year.
