Any Phantasy Star Online owners still play?

I was thinking about renewing my Episode 1 & 2 Hunter's Licsense, and I was wondering if anybody here still plays the game, or at least has plans to play it in the future.

For those of you GC owners who haven't given this game a try, it is kind of expensive (you have to buy the game, pay a monthly fee to play online, buy a GC modem, and get a GC keyboard if you actually want to talk to people), but is well worth it when you factor in how many hours of fun you will get out of this game once addicted. And it will not take long to get addicted...

I think it'd be great if we coul dget a lot of people here playing it anyway :)
 
I still haven't actually renewed my Hunter's Liscense yet. I'm still debating about whether I should do that or wait for World of Warcraft to come out and pay for that instead...
 
Why must companies charge for their services? I can somewhat understand MMORPG's, but even then they could put different advertisements while the game loads or something so you don't have to pay for the server.

These kinds of things make me really love games like Diablo 2 and anything that uses GameSpy client...
 
Yeah, I really don't understand why Sega felt they had to start charging for PSO (it was originaly free). It really isn't that much different from Diablo 2 :/

Guess Sega just knows they can make a lot more money this way...

I had a few PSO 1/2 plus new left at the beginning of this year... you missed it @ $28 :)

aww.. you got the bunk version :lol

The Cube one is nice in that you can play up to 4 player offline... and play offline without a subscription.

you should get the cube version!

Does anyone have this?
