Good Day Fellow Junkies,

This morning I happened to catch "Evan Almighty",it wasn't too bad.It got me to thinking about all the time I devoted to study about "Noah's Ark".I firmly believe it is here on earth, but it's probably in the last place we would ever look.I was curious to see what your take is on the subject.

God bless.

Evan Almighty sucked. And congratulations, you said the most obvious statement ever. "It's in the last place we'll look." Obviously, I mean, once you found it, are you going to keep looking?

If that were what he said, then yes, that is true. However, he did not say that. He said "It's probably in the last place we would ever look." To say "X is at the last y that we would ever z" is to say that if we were to make a list of places to check and went through the list in order, the place that X would end up being found at would be the very last place on said checklist.

I mean, obviously, if we were to say "In the last place we'll look", it's dumb to say. But just a couple of words can change the meaning of the expression.

Now, then. Back on topic. I've never really thought about it, Kaz. It may be gone forever, or it may be hidden... we won't know until one of two things happens. :p

A team of Texas archaeologists believe they may have located the remains of Noah's Ark in Iran's Elburz mountain range.

"I can't imagine what it could be if it is not the Ark," said Arch Bonnema of the Bible Archaeology Search and Exploration (B.A.S.E) Institute, a Christian archeology organization dedicated to looking for biblical artifacts.

Bonnema and the other B.A.S.E. Institute members hiked for seven hours in the mountains northwest of Tehran, climbing 13,000 feet before making the apparent discovery.

"We got up to this object, nestled in the side of a hill," said Robert Cornuke, a member of the B.A.S.E. Institute. "We found something that has my heart skipping a beat."

At first, they didn't dare to hope it was the biblical boat.

"It wasn't impressive at first," Cornuke said. "Certainly didn't think it to be Noah's Ark. But when we got close, we were amazed. It looked similar to wood."

In addition, some B.A.SE. members say, their discovery didn't look very distinctive.

"It looked like the deck of any boat today," Bonnema said.

I do not believe in Noah's Ark. No offense to anybody, but the whole thing seems pretty ridiculous to me.

I don't require proof,I believe in my Bible and God.Just think of the excuses bitter people will come up with if it is found.
