Whether the heart of the action revolves around competition or co-operation, this game ceases to be one of several choices for avoiding boredom when getting together with friends, and instead becomes the reason to get together with friends. Giving players the option to play both online and offline, and utterly destroying the previous benchmarks used to determine a decent amount of “replay value,” this game turns interest into obsession, and obsession into unbridled, addictive, fanaticism. The winner of this award must provide the backbone, and venue, of a socially, persistent, interactive, and unmatched, experience.

i played Left 4 dead only once in the 360 and MAN what a contradiction XD, i was playing a very simple game that it's really short and kind of shallow but it was A LOT OF FUN.

Gears 2. I only played a couple missions in Left 4 Dead. It was alright, but me n my buddy had a blast playing Gears 2 so far.

Well, after playing last night with Mega n Hylian, I've changed my vote. :)

I'm tellin' ya, it's impossible for anyone who has spent any significant amount of time playing Left 4 Dead to vote for anything but it for best multiplayer. :D

I honestly could not stand L4D's multiplayer. I found it lacking... and to be honest, rather boring. This was a year of tactical shooters for me. The two multiplayer games I enjoyed the most on the 360 were Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Quantum of Solace. I know that they're not splitspcreen games (save for Vegas 2), but who's stopping you from system linkage? :P

Btw, where's CoD:WaW on that list?!
