Now see that, I totally disagree with. People already paid for it, and many of the gametypes make use of DLC. I don't see why they couldn't just let the DLC stay and just stop everything on the day they already designated.

Isn't the DLC just multiplayer maps though? I never bought them, but I haven't heard of Halo DLC that wasn't multiplayer oriented. Plus if people already paid for it, then they would already have it, no?

They were free since Bungie made them free since 2006 :(

So then, everyone who cared should have them right? Also, is my assumption about them being multiplayer correct? If that's the case, then wouldn't they not work anyways after the shutdown?

Not through legal means. You would have to mod your box in order to be able to read the burnt discs.

That picture was Photoshopped, the Xbox doesn't actually say that. lol.

And does anyone know if the Kola Cell DLC for the original Splinter Cell was free? I would like to download it before they take it away forever. :lol
