I know its hitting the Xbox, but has anyone seen any information that it would hit the cube?

I know it would do better if they would release it on the Gamecube 1 year after the original release :lol

I sure hope it hits the Gamecube!

Isn't EA publishing Burnout 3? If so, there's a much better chance it will come to the Gamecube. I haven't seen any EA games NOT come to the 'Cube.

one other thing I wonder is if they will downscale BO3 for the Gamecube.

IE ..... the Gamecube is capable for superb graphics and can pull anything the Xbox can IMO.
but that takes programming changes, and I really am wondering if they are going to do it good.

EA let Hot pursuit2 suck on the Gamecube and Xbox systems while letting the PS2 version ride. Same thing with Burnout 2 for the cube and xbox.... the Ps2 was rated a whole point + better... especially in the visuals department.

I really hope someone does this game right and give it justice.
AND it better come to the cube or I will not buy an EA game ever again. I mean that.

Well so far it doesn't seem like it's coming to the Cube. :'( Which is disappointing, since Burnout 3 looks fantastic! The sense of speed is great and the crashes are like :o I saw trailers for it and now I kind of want to try it out when it comes out. I'll probably end up getting it for XBOX if it doesn't come out for the Cube.

I was really dissapointed with Freedom Fighter's graphics on the Cube. They made a straight port of the PS2 version for the GC so the graphics were pretty poor, but on the Xbox they were absolutely stunning. Really kind of pissed me off because I payed the same amount of money as anyone who bought it for Xbox did, and the GC is capable of having better graphics.

are you sure the Xbox graphics were better?

but to that note.... that is what I was talking about before.... idiot programmers are just porting to the Gamecube instead of trying to get the power out of the cube... they are just settling with lower than mediocre.

Yeah, that's why I like it when companies really make the effort to use the GC's power. I give total props to Capcom for making Resident Evil 4 so beautiful. And Viewtiful Joe, as well. The guy on RE4 made a comment about how the RE4 team was some of the same people who worked on REmake and Resident Evil Zero so they really knew how to get the best out of the Cube. That's probably another reason I'm so psyched for RE4.

Anyway, back to Burnout 3...I hope they end up putting it on the Cube. I'd love a good arcade-y racer on the Cube.

just as long as its not a ps2 port again.... when do companies finally learn!?

I hope Burnout 3 does come to the cube..

but Freedom Fighters really looked better on the Xbox?

Yes, trust me. Even looking through the sniper scope was incredibly more detailed and high-res. They just didn't take any time to port it over to the Cube.

I also agree with Mai, RE really showed what the Cube could do. I'm also a great fan of the Rogue Squadron games, even though the second one was kind of poor compared to the first, they were bother technically amazing, and proved that anything done on the Cube can look as good as on an Xbox.

I have said from the beginning the Cube can pull anything the Xbox can + more.

Its too bad that no one will work to make it awesome....

Everyone leaves their games with bad frame rates or some flaws.

I wonder why they try to make Xbox and PS2 games better?

Soul Calibur 2 outsold ALL the other version (Xbox OR Ps2) on the Gamecube.... see what happens when they do take time to make something quality.
Look at Eternal Darkness!

Freedom Fighters could have looked just as good as the Xbox's.....
I'll have to check it out and see what the deal with that is.

stealth... are you sure on that Xbox thing?

I just checked out the reviews for the Cube and Xbox versions... and they are the exact same.

they said there are no differences in graphics basically. I ahve not seen 1st hand....

Was one of the systems on A/V while one was on S/V?
OR the Xbox on Component while the Gamecube was not?

I agree that the GCN can be as graphically great as the other two systems out there if the developers work at it. I mean, a lot of games on PS2 and Xbox don't look that good, and every Xbox/PS2 game I've seen that looks great, the GCN has one that looks as awesome if not better, IMO.

what I like best about the cube system is the color palette.

it seems that the other systems use darker colors, but those colors end up getting more "mashed" and good vibrant colors do not come out... Mario Sunshine is an example..... MAN the water in that game is just BEAUTIFUL!
I never see anything like that in any other games. Burnout 2 (IMO) looked better on the Cube than the other 2 versions just in the color department alone!

I just do not think developers take time on the cube and to me, that sucks.
Nintendo takes good care of their games... nice games :D

Yeah, Super Mario Sunshine did have some nice water effects, I especially liked the turbo nozzle when in water.

Who here likes racing games? Other than Mario Kart and Need for Speed: Underground, I don't really care for them.

I agree with what you're saying, Blue. Nintendo's first party games like Super Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker use the colour scheme to it's full potential. And yes Xbox and especially PS2 can look too murky. But I don't think Gamecube is in the same leauge, graphics wise, as Xbox. Gamecube just have people behind it that want to put more effort into how their games look. Trust me, it may be close...but Xbox can produce better looking graphics.

What system were they for? Maybe I'll rent them sometime.
Burnout out 1 and 2 are for the Ps2 and Gamecube, I think B2 was on Xbox, but not sure about burnout 1.
