Cable TV Needs To Lighten Up A Little,Don't You Think?

Hello Members!

When I say tv I mean standard cable,not satellite or privately viewed material that you get from your cable company by paying for it.

I can understand why they censor certain shows for violence or sexual content,but not with cursing.With the Internet and today's social life for children,they learn and say many curse words from their friends.I enjoy watching the "Sopranos" on "A&E",but it ticks me off the way they edit the show to blank out the cursing.I find it it more realistic and enjoyable when they're not censored.

Don't you think they should lighten up a little on the censoring power?

Well I agree it doesn't make much sense to censor a show such as Sopranos. I doubt many kids watch it anyways considering it's such a mature themed show, so I don't even see a point in censoring it.
