But of course, my dad is finally thinking about getting a PSP. They're cheaper, and bound to get even cheaper at Christmas time, and I ain't paying for it, so i really can't complain about it. He might actually get it soon. So, yeah, I get to play Chains of Olympus finally. Well, when it comes out. Speaking of that, what are some good PSP games?

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection
Dracula X Chronicles (with Rondo of Blood AND Symphony of the Night)

I've thought about getting one of the new, leaner PSP models (when I can afford one). Other games I haven't checked out that I'd like to are Rachet & Clank: Size Matters and Death Jr.

I've recently seen a PSP video out to either a normal red, white, yellow video/audio out, or a component video plus audio out. That'd be an awesome accessory if you are playing the PSP at home and want to plug into a TV.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Neither of those are even out yet...In fact, Birth By Sleep was announced about a week ago at TGS. :lol

Wipeout: Pure is a must buy, as are Daxter and the PSP version of Ratchet and Clank.

i mean splinter cell essentials
Dude, they just cobbled together a bunch of missions from other Splinter Cell games, and added a couple new ones for that one. Your better off just buying the regular Splinter Cell games, especially considering how cheap most of them are now.

Cherry's right, Splinter Cell sucks, and that one's probably the worst.

yeah, nice baiting statement

but i dont care if you dont like splinter cell

so just...dont bring it up.

and i think we all agree that nobody else cares, either.

Actually, there's a package with the slim silver psp and the new daxter game.

Yeah, I'm thinking of telling him about that, just so he can get the PSP Slim.

And no, Hines, I wasn't baiting, in fact, I didn't even remember that you like it. And I could really care less if you believe me, 'cause it really doesn't change that I wasn't trying to bait.

when you say "splinter cell sucks, and this one might be the worst," you are definitly baiting

So if I say I hate Splinter Cell also, that means I'm baiting? Oh my god, we have an opinion. We should be gut shot.

And HOW could I have forgotten the classic ports/remakes that most handhelds are seeming to get quite a lot on the systems...

http://www.us.playstation.com/PSP/Games/Ultimate_Ghosts_n_Goblins
ultimate ghosts n goblins... This looks WAY more visually appealing than the GBA Ghouls & Ghosts

Final Fantasy I and FFII are out on PSP as well... (Japanese I & II that is) and the graphics look way more three dimensional than the GBA's Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls...

Granted most games I've mentioned are remakes, ports, or sequels to older games, but, they still look FUN. I am, however, wondering about the music & download features on the PSP. Having a game system doubling as an Mp3 player doesn't sound bad to me at all. I think the UMD movies are a little silly though (being that they're a proprietary format...).

But aren't the first three Final Fantasy's crappy RPG's by today's standards?

I love Splinter Cell. Conviction looks great, and Splinter Cell is better than MGS IMO. This particular one though, really doesn't have all that much new content, so I just wouldn't recommend it. Plus, you can probably find the first three, in their non-ported glory for a really cheap price.

And I already did recommend a few games Hines.

No, not necessarily. I think it may come down to personal taste for those...

Oh, yeah, right, I was more saying you were right about the game being bad than hating Splinter Cell. My bad.

Usually you hate something because it sucks. I think they're bad games. Whoop dee freaking doo. You think they're great games. Whoop dee freaking doo. As much as you can consider saying something sucks is baiting, you can consider saying something rocks is baiting. Face it, people have opinions, and no matter how harsh or unlike yours they are, they're still opinions. That's all.
