Choppy Audio?

Hey guys,

I was playing Warhammer 40k Dawn of War today and I noticed that the audio is very choppy. The graphics are great. I went into options and set all the audio to low quality and it still is very choppy. Then I put it all to high and it is the same. Any ideas?
 
Try upgrading (or reinstalling) your audio drivers.

If that doesn't help, make sure not to have a bunch of processes running in the background while you play games. Close other open programs and such.
 
I tried updating, that didnt work. Now Im going to close everything out. I dont think this will work though. All my other games work fine, only Dawn of War has the audio problems. :-\
 
Do you use a CD to play it. Maybe the cd is scratched or dirty. If you can try to play it on another system that way you would find out if its you or the game that is the problem
 
Ok I did what you said. All my games work perfectly but Dawn of War. Thanks for the help, its no big deal. I dont really play it that much anyways, and when I do I dont need the volume.
 
Have you installed the Dawn of War Patches?

they can be found on http://dow.monkehs.com/

They may solve your problems.
