Anybody else going to be picking this up? It was suppose to come out today but apparently the shipment got held off until tomorrow so I should be getting my copy then. It's looking so far like it could match up to the original, which I really hope for. Hopefully I can get another good 100 hours out of this game.
 
Definitely picking this up. Disgaea was the bomb. Best game that year just about.

Though, I've happily dropped 80 hours in Alter Code F so far..
The original Wild Arms only had about 15 hours of gameplay, so the remake packs one hell of a punch and much deeper gameplay later on.
 
Only Wild Arms game I've gotten to play is the third one, and I barely had a chance to play any of that.

Well I picked it up today, and so far I'm pretty impressed. Seems to do as good of a job of entertaining as the last one did. The new little additions

Wild Arms is a wonderful series. All of them. I haven't played four yet, but presumably.. just as awesome.

The music is standout in just about all of them. ESPECIALLY Alter Code F and 3.
 
um... isn't disgaea like a srtategy/tactics type game? cuz i couldn't get into FF tactics, so is there anything in disgagae that would make me wanna play it?

In my opinion, Disgaea is the best SRPG ever. It's insanely humorous, fun, and entertaining.

Try teh first one for sure. IF you don't like that, you'll just... never like an SRPG/TBS.
 
If you can even find it. It seems like it's become a pretty hard game to track game.. the only place I've constantly seen it is on ebay.
 
Well I'm pretty much at the end of D2, and so far I've actually liked it more than the first one. Seems like the main story should take around 20 hours but I know it will last a whole lot longer than that. So with that, this game gets a huge recommendation from me.
 
I think I'm going to pick the first one up, then hopefully the second. I've been hearing nothing but good stuff and reviews about this series so far.

Disgaea is a very easy game.


As far as Disgaea 2 - I'm about half way through with the game and while I do like it, it's just not as charming as the original. It's still funny. It's just not as funny. The gameplay has been improved in micro levels, but overall not necessarily megaton proportions.

Shrug. Disgaea 2 is good. Disgaea is better.
 
I'm going out after my paycheck on Monday to pick up the first Disgaea. How many hours do you think it has for playability? Also, is Disgaea 2 a game I should buy imediately after beating the first or should I wait till price goes down?
