DLC on the Wii is Non-Transferable?

It's true :'( It's bullcrap! Nintendo is always 5 years behind. PS3 and 360 can let you, but not these jerks. EVEN when your crap is connected to nintendo.com's club nintendo!

For once, I agree!

For once? Nintendo is hardly perfect my friend :D I once held Nintendo in a bit higher regard than the other companies, but crap like this is quickly diminishing that. Get with it Nintendo.

I don't generally agree with Creepin when it comes to talking about the Wii, is all. xD

Not many people do, unless they are completely and utterly anti Wii :D

Meh it is a huge mistake but companies make mistakes, sure I hate that whenever my wii makes a strange noise i skip a heartbeat and think of all the VC i might lose but hopefully this will be solved soon.

Sorry guys but the only way anyone will ever make me hate nintendo (again since i did hate them back in E3 2008) is if they stop making games that i consider great, and in the following months my wallet will suffer due to wii releases so it ain't happening any time soon =P

This isn't an anti-Nintendo thread. It was to point out a huge mistake and to show how short-sighted Nintendo really is. I don't think people care if you support the Wii or not, I don't. :D

I know this but i have the right to post my opinion on the matter anyway, this is a forum after all.

I know, it was a joke. I was retorting to your "sorry guys" part of your sentence.

I was actually referring to the article instead of the people who posted here.... sorry about that...

UPDATE: Okay so I called Nintendo today! (Btw when they put you on hold, they play Super Mario 64 BGM. Awesome to the max)

Step 1) Have the original serial number of your Wii before you SELL it or TRADE it in!!
Step 2) The original console should be deactivated from Nintendo Club before you register your new Wii
Step 3) Have the NEW Wii you bought, connected to Club Nintendo's website. Provide your user name from Club Nintendo for them!
Step 4) Provide your info such as name, address, phone, and e-mail
Step 5) Remain cool, calm, and confident. If they expect anything shady or you do not have the proper info ready to go, they will cut you off like an angry driver!

Now for the fun part. After being on hold for 10 minutes, they have to track down a truckload of stuff due to the shear amount of games that was on my previous Wii. They are not sure if Nintendo, GameStop, or a Nintendo repair area has to fix it. However, an Administrator will be calling me shortly with an update.
