Do You Find Today's Prices For Video Games New Or Used, Reasonable?

Hi Addicts!

Although there are some newer titles that are like $60,I consider that to be a little extreme at times,I'm certainly grateful to whoever introduced the "Greatest Hits" concept.Back in the day,"SNES" titles such as "FF III" were insanely priced.

Well I'd personally never pay more than $50 for a CD based game. But that is never an issue because I buy all my games used or greatest hits :)

The store I buy my used games from,has a copy of "Hot Shots Tennis".They're asking $25 for it.Right across the street is a mall where my brother works.In the electronics dept. they have the same game sealed.They're asking $15.99 for it! :lol

I'm tempted to tell them of this difference,but all I would get is...Then go buy it over there...
 
Well I think it varies for me.
I usually don't spend more than $30 on a game unless I've been waiting for it to come out.

And used games, I try not to spend more than $20, only times I do are when I buy a game online.
 
I only buy my games NEW. Gotta give companies like Atlus and NIS and AKsys and Tri-Ace the money so they can keep bringing the niche titles that I love to me.

If I do not buy a game NEW or on Release Date then the chances of me getting the game are about 10% unless gamestop has a blowout NEW games deal.
 
Not really, but that's why I don't just buy games all nilly-willy. Read reviews, play demos, and get your friends' opinions first...that's what I do.

yeah that's what i do.... even if the game gets low reviews though sometimes i do end up buying it and liking it anyways. I just look for other opinions to see if the faults of the game will bother me or not. (one of the examples is Tales of symphonia dawn of the new world, fire emblem radiant dawn and shadow dragon, even with the average reviews i still liked all 3 games)
