Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 for NDS, in the game you can raise monsters and fuse them to become stronger monsters. The game will have online battle over WiFi.

Hmm, I remember the first one. Was kind of a mix between Pokemon and Persona (where you fuse the monsters).
