Yeah, I already have the September issue of EGM. What's that about?  It's not even August yet! :lol

Anyway.

1. Legend of Zelda - GC - Fall 2005
2. Halo 2 - XBOX - November 2004
3. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - GC - November 2004
4. Resident Evil 4 - GC - November 2004
5. Paper Mario 2 - GC - October 2004
6. Fable - XBOX - September 2004
7. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - PS2 - October 2004
8. Final Fantasy XII - PS2 - Spring 2005
9. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - PS2 - November 2004
10. Metroid Prime: Hunters - DS - Winter 2004

It's nice to finally see some Gamecube games on there, and so high on the list, too.  :woot

EGM says, "Disagree with the list? You're the ones who created it. Rock your vote at www.egmmag.com."

(edited for typo)

Yep, GCN is dominating the charts. I believe Nintendo is going to have a very good Q4 2004 and early 2005.

Wow, a DS game even made the list. No PSP game has done that yet.

Hey Mai, how did you get the Sept issue already?

I have a subscription to EGM, so I get my issue before it hits the stores. Most magazines have a strange thing where they date the issues a month or two ahead of what the date actually is. I think the last issue, the E3 one which is currently available on retail shelves, is actually the "August" issue, so I guess it makes sense that I have the "September" issue.

Look, I know what I said ealier about the DS, but it is looking very sharp. More than likely I'm going to have to pick one up... no matter what the cost.

That list is a load of crap....there are no good games on it

In your opinion. You just don't like it because almost everything is a sequel or part of an existing franchise. Fable's probably the only original game. That, however, does not mean that they won't be good games. I bet you at least half of those games will get scores in the 9.0s from every credible source.

I personally think that's a great list....I am interested in everything on there, even GTA: SA, a little.

You can always go vote for what you think should be on there.

WHOA! I'm sorry, but what the hell are you talking about?! That's the most ridiculous statement i've possibly ever heard. You can't just say that the games aren't good because they're sequels. The whole freakin' industry complies of mostly sequels these days. Most of the games themselves are still gonna be pure quality, which is what counts.

I seriously believe that The Legend of Zelda GCN will be the best game ever. And i'm never one to say that before playing the game myself. But it's looking so much like something I can tell i'm gonna enjoy for MANY playing hours.

hmm on that list im only looking foward to really is

1. Legend of Zelda - GC - Fall 2005
4. Resident Evil 4 - GC - November 2004
5. Paper Mario 2 - GC - October 2004
8. Final Fantasy XII - PS2 - Spring 2005

Tho god knows how long we will have to wait for some of them

Don't start Neph, this is one fight I don't think you can win.

I mean, come on, Zelda, Samus, Snake, there's no way you won't have some kind of fun with those games, not to mention the other great titles on that list. And if you're looking for originality what about Metroid Prime: Hunters? Sure it's a Metroid game, but it uses a stylus, I mean come on, what more do you want!?

Yeah, I'm still willing to bet at least half of those games listed will get scores in the 9.0s. Maybe even perfect 10s. In fact I'd be surprised if any of those games (except possibly Metroid Prime: Hunters due to the newness of using a stylus) got less than 9.0.

Fall 2005 is way to far away.....

I guess Paper Mario 2, Tales of Symphonia and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes will have to tide my Gamecube over until then.

My priority this holiday buying is Halo 2, Resident Evil 4, and the DS. I will probably wait on getting MP2, Paper Mario 2, and the others until next year. I mean, I want some money left over to buy other people their Christmas presents. ;)

Hey,
I guess I am the only one looking forward to Gran Turismo 4....My christmas list is this- MGS 3, GTA SA, Halo 2, GT4, Fable, Sudeki, and Doom 3.....

My Christmas list is gonna be The Legend of Zelda GCN, Metroid Echoes, Paper Mario 2 and GTA: San Andreas. I'll probably just buy FF XII on launch.

Yeah, our computer shows Resident Evil 4 as coming out January 3, 2005. But I'll probably pay it off before it comes out instead of getting a different game. So my holiday choices are still the same.

Now if someone were to get me Paper Mario 2 or Metroid Prime 2 as a Christmas present, I wouldn't complain! ;)
