No word on the American home front sadly :(

Sony has announced that their first wave of 3D PlayStation 3 games will be launching in June, along with their first 3D-capable television, the Sony HX803. This model will be of particular interest to gamers as Sony also announced it'll come (at least in Europe) with a voucher to download four entire 3D-capable PlayStation 3 games from the PlayStation Network.

The free games include Wipeout HD, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, PAIN, and Super Stardust HD (via T3). As Sony previously revealed, gamers will need to download a firmware update to make their PS3's 3D capable, which should be released by June as well. 3D glasses will also be necessary, and you'll have to buy them separately as they're apparently not bundled with the HX803 model.

There's no word yet on whether the same free games deal will apply to North America, but we'll update once confirmation comes one way or the other. Other PS3 games planned (or rumored) for 3D compatibility include Little Big Planet and Killzone 2, and possibly Gran Turismo 5.
