Gaming Magazines.

Many here still buy them? I know they are slowly dying out, but I much prefer them over online mags/sites

I'm a long time subscriber to EDGE magazine and was, untill recently, a subscriber to 'PC Zone'. Was gutted when that mag finished. They auto switched subscribers over to PC Gamer, but I just ain't feeling it.

Retro Gamer I get quite often, as do I the official Nintendo mag.

I bought GamesMaster mag out of curiosity a couple months back....dear o dear. Its the gaming equivalent of 'Heat' :lol

Any others still clinging on to the old skool?? S'not just me is it? :?

I got Nintendo Power years and years ago. I really never subscribed to a game mag after that. I pretty much watch x-play instead...

I use to subscribe to them, but being mainly a retro gamer I find no interest in any magazine nowadays. The last mag I purchased was in 2003. I haven't seen "Retro Gamer" any where local, the name jars my interest. Just looked it up online and I will say that it is out of my price range. Aughhhh! But looks like something I would treasure if I had it.
I miss the magazines. Good old days, good memories.

The best gaming magazine ever was GMR. I am still sad that they stopped making that.

Play used to be good but it got kind of bad a while back so I stopped subscribing.

I still like Nintendo Power but not enough to subscribe. I buy it every now and then, though. Same thing with OXM.

Only mag I still have a subscription to is Game Informer, and it's not even mine, it's one of my housemate's.

I have most of the Dreamcast Magazines.

I used to subscribe to PSM before they became like the only playstation mag. But that was years ago.

Nice to see I'm not alone :)

Mai Valentine - Never heard of GMR. JUst looked it up and I see it was US/Canada Publication, so that is probably why. Just checked out GameInformer. Its a damn shame they only ship to the US othwerwise I'd have given it a shot and subscribed :-(

retro junkie - They do yearly publications that take all the best bits and throw em all in one big magazine/slash book. They're about a tenner, but they are definitley worth it :-)

snatcher L - The Dreamcast mag was great. One of the more unbiased official mags I reckon.

I was shocked to learn that GamePro is still made yesterday!! I had no idea, cause GAME INFORMER keeps killing the market thanks to GameStop :P Oh btw, you guys are ALL wrong...the best gaming magazine EVER....was...
