Gears of War movie

New Line Cinema (the guys who did the Lord of the Rings movies) just bought the rights to make a Gears of War movie. Its target is a summer 2009 release. Get ready for another crappy video game movie.

yes, they've evolved character relationships, brought in new characters, and have had new and creative traps every time

and in the next 2, yes they have to do things different, JIGSAW AND AMANDA ARE DEAD HELLO.

and im expecting the return of dr gordon

evolving character relationships does nothing for the movies...new characters were random...and they're just traps...in the next two...there's gonna be traps...lol this movie shoulda stopped after the second one.

Jigsaw isn't dead buddy. The guy who is Jigsaw signed on for Saw IV and Saw V, so he is still around for awhile. Do you honestly think he was going to get put out that easily? Lol.
 
Just to distinguish one point here, New Line Cinema did not "make" LOTR, they just funded the people who did. The fact that New Line is producing a Gears of War movie has absolutely no bearing or relationship to any other movie New Line has put out. The people who made LOTR (Peter Jackson, Weta Workshops, etc.) had signed on to do a Halo movie, but that has since been derailed.

Sorry that's what I meant. Of course they didn't make it but they were involved in its production. Sorry for the confusion.
