Hardcore Wii Games(surprising)

Well it is for me. I really do enjoy a lot of casual games out there, but I would much rather have a deep "hardcore" game, so I don't like the fact that Nintendo is focusing so much on casual gaming, because it makes me worry that I won't have a lot to play on my Wii.

So, again, it all comes down to personal preference...
 
But they're not totally focusing on only casual. You still have Disaster and(at some point) H.A.M.M.E.R, Fire Emblem, Tales. Just go look at some titles, and look past all the casual games, and there are a lot of good games. Its early(and easy) lead over the PS3, and its smack down of the 360 sales are only going to draw in more third party support, kinda like the PS2 did.
 
hardcore wii games are really coll it really thrills me and i really like with this i can consume my free time with pleasure and satisfaction.
 
Wait, the NIS America Strategy RPGs for PS3 are hardcore...Diseaga 3 and Cross Edge. Most people are curious about those two. I know this because the Gamestop guy tried to sell me one for $30 and i looked like a joe-smo.

I agree. I can't wait for Phantom Brave for the Wii. I'm gonna play that more than any other Wii game, most definitely. A truly hardcore game.
 
Strubes, hah, I see myself playing Phantom Brave as the game that will finally make me turn on my wii for something other than the monehtly brawl or something.
 
you guys should try the Fire emblem series :lol it is one of the series nintendo not only kept hardcore... but its latest games are designed for veterans only (so you might want to start out with path of radiance)

OMG I really need to eat my words now. I hardly ever play my Wii because it seems like 99% of its game library is casual shovelware.
 
LOL@Mai. Sad but true, but the main point of what games SHOULD be is what liked the most from your original statement. Yet, now my Wii is a Dustbuster...
