Greetings,

Have any of you bought a game that you weren't sure if it was a good one or bad one,but decided to get it anyway, because of the reputation of the company who made it?

I have. When I'm unsure,I look to the creator of the game. For example,if I ever come across a game that I'm not sure if it's any good,I look at the logo on the game case.If it's made by a company such as "Capcom" I'm more inclined to buy it based on the fact that almost all the "Capcom" games I've played before and liked, gives me a sense of trust in the company that hasn't let me down yet.How about you guys, has a companies' reputation been a deciding factor when your not sure if you wish to buy it or not?

Peace.

Not important at all to be honest! I've been let down too much in the past by buying a game simply based on who made it. If I'm dropping money on a game I have to be almost 100% sure I will like it. I never just go to the store and randomly buy games, I do plenty of research before hand.

Sometimes for me the real defining issue is price pretty much if the game is running me more than $25 I want to know about the game and couldn't care less about the company.

Most companies have games on either side of the spectrum (good games and bad games). So the company actually for the most part doesn't affect my decision.
