For the life of me I can't remember the exact name of the title, but it featured fighters from "Neo-geo' titles I used to see in the arcade, such as "World Heroes","Samurai Showdown",etc. for the "PS2".I was all excited, ready to scrap.Once my first battle began,I couldn't believe my eyes! The game was way slower, and the graphics horrible!

Surely today's systems would be powerful enough to run that game just as well as the Geo did.My only guess is that the "PS2" was designed to play a multitude of titles, but could that be the only reason?

God Bless,
MR.KAZ

You mean SNK Arcade Classics Collection Vol. 1?

I had a friend who told me the same thing, yet you have to really take a step back. The speed of the games weren't amazing. The 2D Graphics however, still look good on Samurai Showdown. I know World Heroes was slow, but it's predecessors World Heroes 2 and World Heroes 2 Jet were a vast improvement.

I love the collection personally, I own it.

It's not the PS2's fault at all, it's the way the games were, Mr. Kaz.

Classics may seem slow to you now, but 15-20 years ago, that was top notch quality.
