Is this the $499 Model of the PS3?

Ok so I stumbled upon these pics today.

Now we know that the $599 model is going to have 2 HDMI ports but these pics clearly show only 1. So is this the $499 model that everyone feared would not have HD capabilities or what?

I don't know... because the $499 isn't supposed to have any HDMI, I thought...

What would be the point of 2 HDMI ports?

Nope. Thats the $599 version. The $499 version does not have HDMI.

Plus the $599 version only has one HDMI port. They took out the second one.

I think that idea was scrapped. Originally and in the press conference they stated that with two hdmi's you would be able to hook up your ps3 to two hdtv's side by seed to create a panoramic view of not 16x9 but 32x9. It was a great thought but really how many people have two hdtvs that they can place side by side. The $499 model will have no hdmi but still support components meaning it will support hd regardless.
