Jobs..ideal and crappy

What job do u currently have? What job do u wish u could have? What job would u never wanna do? What jobs do u think would be cool and attractive in a potential bf/gf er crappy in one?

I currently have no job...which I think is the best job except u don't get payed. I think my ideal job would prolly be to be a voice actor for cartoons and video games, or a highschool guidance counselor, or taking cool pics and selling em.

I think a job I would never want is to be a janitor for gross public restrooms, or a septic tank emptying person. :s yucky

I think that in a bf being a football player or some other sports star sounds extremely unattractive. I also would not wanna be dating a lawyer er doctor er anything really boringish to me. lol (A doctor is not boring but they have to touch really gross stuff and I would feel grossed out when they touch me I think. They are highly commendable and all that tho...)

I think in a bf that does something involving physical labor type jobs is attractive, or something artsy.

Now, what about all of u?
 
I have two jobs; I sometimes am a radio engineer, the rest of the time I cut up bodies. The cutting up bodies is part of a pathology department position.
 
I work in retail, which sucks. But honestly I think everyone should work in retail at least once so they can learn what it's like for us and how to be nice to people who work at stores they shop at.

What I'd like to do is photography and graphic design.
 
I am a Warranty Analyst for a company and deal with our customers and their returns. Presently they are adding a Quality Supervisor's job to my responsibilities. I am being trained and those responsibilities will be in full swing at the first of September. I really have no opinion about it yet. It is more of a wait and see. Or I wonder if they really expect a person to balance two jobs at once. Ta Daa! It saves the company some money! :-\

What I would really like to do is be retired.
 
My job has been lame this week. -_-

I was hoping it would take longer to start getting annoyed with things. Maybe I just hate working.

I've come to determine that my ideal job would be a mix of theoretical thinking and manual labour. It's an impossible combination, I know, but I really enjoyed the critical/analytical theory classes I took in university, and I also find that a job involving physical labour helps me sleep soundly at night. Too much of one or the other and I end up having trouble falling asleep at night or I don't feel challenged and like I'm living up to my potential at all.

For a significant other? Not sure, really. I don't think it would matter to me all that much.

Anything involving human waste is undesirable, but also any job where I'd have to work with people who I had nothing in common with. I've worked a few of those jobs, and they were not fun at all.

You pretty much described what I do now... except add more toxic chemicals, potentially deadly diseases, and having to pay tuition for a certification to keep the job.

Is it silly to consider withdrawing from the program?
 
Currently in between jobs. After basically running a KFC for over 3 years they let me and my whole team go when a new manager stepped in. Oh well at least it gave me time to concentrate on college.

My ideal job would be software development. I'm currently majoring in Computer Information Science Programming so I'm on my way XD
 
I work at STarbucks now and it is across the street from my house which is a great location. It's not my ideal job, but the ppl r nice. I think the idea of having me run it by myself after only being slightly trained is an odd one tho, but apparently they always do that, cuz it is a small starbucks..half train ppl and then throw em in on shifts alone. Hopefully nothing goes wrong. Didn't realize there were sooo many drinks served there.
 
To elaborate on the earlier posts, I am currently working in an anatomical pathology department as a certified histotechnician. The first year of the job was extremely tough, but I have settled into getting the job done on a daily basis. It took over a year of training plus a 24 hours of medical school training, but I did complete the program and the certification. It does pay better than my old gas station jobs, but I still like going back to do some radio station work when my schedule allows.

I do question if I would rather have a desk job some days though since hospital work is extremely messy.

My girlfriend has an awesome job working at a park, she enjoys her job, the only drawback is the lack of health benefits though. I think health benefits would make the difference between the job being satisfying and long-term or being a job until she finds something with better compensation.

The worst jobs I have had involved working with mentally ill people and working at a package delivery company. The package delivery thing lasted less than a week because the manager asked me to break a safety rule. It was not a hard decision to quit that job quickly!
 
my job sucks but its easy to work full time at the hotel and finish CIS degree. Retail managment paid more but work came home with me, no time for homework, study, or kids.. Working at a hotel is a crappy job but its not nearly as demanding as everythign else i've ever done.
