Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories gets a remake for PS2 (JPN only)

Square Enix announced the upcoming PS2 RPG Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix + will feature both Kingdom Hearts II and a PS2 remake of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, which is based on the GBA version, but with full 3D graphics, new stories and voice dialog for certain event scenes. Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix + will be released in Japan in spring 2007.
 
Is there a chance of an American release? Never played Chain of Memories, and an amped-up version would be great!!! :D
 
Cuz i beat the first one right when it came out 4 years ago and then jumped into KH2 and forgot a hefty amount of things...
 
Word on the street is that there will be a new KH!! release with a full 3d Chain of Memories and KHII will have more boss fights, such as Sora Vs. Roxas

yes its been confirmed for an american release all along, idk why this thread says otherwise
 
Japan may get KHIIFM+, but AMERICA gets MUSHROOM KINGDOM HEARTS!!! USA!! USA!! USA!!!
 
Yea thats pretty lame if you fell for the Mushroom Kingdom Hearts :p

but anyways the remake is coming to USA
 
A couple questions. Do we have a confirmed release date? And also, is the 3-D chain of memories going to use the card system?

no... but now im second guessing whether this is a US release... I did read it in a mag but idk if they said US or not
