This has been on my mind since I saw the death of Aeris in FFVII(spoilers end after 5 years,) Why didn't they just use a Phoenix Down on her? :huh

In Final Fantasy 7-a main character dies-Phoenix Downs bring dead party members back to life-Why didn't they just use one on the her!!

Here's a theory-She died so AWESOME, she can't come back!!!
 
Man..that's how the creator of the game wanted to happen. Besides..I hated Ares! She was weak in my party, I rarely used her at all. I probally used her just to revive or give potions, etc. to other party members but other than that she was a waste of character. After I got some other characters good at doing what she could then I didn't need her at all.
 
I spend alot of time leveling all of my characters, so she was pretty strong whenever I used her. She was always teh one that healed my party members in the front...so she was cool!

For emotional effect. If she had survived then the game wouldn't have been the same.

I did the samething. I'll play throught the game like one day and then the next I'll spend my entire time just leveling up. I remember when I first played FFVII I got really impatient with all of the reading, etc. and just rushed through the game avoiding fights and everything. When it was time to fight a boss I usually died in a couple of hits. I then realized why it was so hard..so I had started all over again to get a fresh start.

I still don't know how some ppl even get all of her limit breaks and her ultima weapon when she dies in the middle of the game.

I always had Vincent in my party no matter what, he was really strong. I think I usually had Cloud, Vincent, & Cid in my party the most. All of them had a part to me when I did heavy battles. Cloud handled the materia, attacks, & healing, Vincent usually attacks, & Cid usually healed and material. I always have 2 characters that can heal and have alot of MP.
 
@Bman-I do the exact same thing, except use Barret instead of Cid. Cloud and Vincent are in back with the healing materia while Barret was in front, using mostly physical attacks. Cloud carries almost all of my summons except for Choco-Mog, which I give to Barret...
 
I never used Aeris, to me she was completely useless. I really don't know how people can get all of her limit breaks before she dies. At the beginning I use Cloud, Red XIII, and Tifa, and after I get Cid I replace Tifa with him.
 
You just have to spend a whole week of playtime to leveling-up all your characters before you enter Nibelheim......I got all of ehr limit breaks and found her ultima weapon easily. Just use her alot and in the back.....It's cool when she dies, 'cause then you can sell her weapons for a bunch of money. :D
 
I don't like her as a fighting person or as a character in general. I had a party with my cousin when we first saw the death scene. Sephy is my hero! :lol j/k...
 
Sephiroth is my favorite character ever. I wish there was some way of playing with him in FFVII...like if you beat the game three times or something......
