My 3 Free PSP Games arrived finally!

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3, and LittleBigPlanet!

It takes 5-10 days for PS Network to send you an e-mail with the code. All you have to do is register your PSPGo system with playstation.com/us! This offer expires on March 11, 2011! Even if the PSP Go was purchased USED or has never been registered, you CAN STILL DO IT!

But in the end it's cheaper to get a 3000 model, especially if you buy a lot of used games or if you already have some games for it. :P

I paid $200 brand new for this PSP Go :P So beat that...If you rain on my parade one more time, I am curb stomping your goofy @ss. That's not a threat, it's a promise.

well just remember, that by buying games for that, you are contributing to the cause to go completely digital distribution.

Not a cause, it's the future. Something nobody can stop.

But we can stall.

agreed.

the rain on your parade is telling the truth though.... though not the whole truth.... Mega dislikes gamestop with a passion so he does not want to buy used games from them therefore the PSP go was the right choice for him.

for me? well i wanted to import a couple of tales games from europe/japan so the 3000 was my choice and it worked for me.

it depends on the situation really... i utterly hate for whatever the go stands for but i can see why people would prefer it

ya dont have to buy used games from gamestop. At least, I don't. I have a Play N Trade across the road from my house. :D

But... wouldn't it be the same to buy a 3000 model and buy new UMDs from walmart, amazon, etc?

what would be the point then? if you are only going to buy new UMDs to never trade them in or anything like that what would be the point of buying a 3000 then? it would be easier just to download them instead of going to the store.

now again i am not pro-go but i just can see how it can be handier to some people than the 3000, and i firmly believe mega is one of those people who would be so much easier for them to have a Go than a 3000 (not to mention this way i won't get mad at him because he traded in a multiplayer game i wanted to play with him xD)

But you still have that option, in case you find a rare title, or if you want to borrow a game from your friend, that sort of thing.

but there is no such thing as a rare title for the Go... every title is on PSN. so it doesn't work that way.

for the "borrow from a friend" you got me there, that's one of the reasons i didn't get a Go...

Because the differences is much more than just game distribution. They both have their differences in hardware. For example, the 3000 has a bigger screen but the Go has a nicer analog nub. It depends on what the person prefers.

I personally would get a 3000 over the Go because not only do I want my games on discs, but I also want the bigger screen. I don't mind digital distribution as long as I have the option to get the physical version as well. Depending on the game, I wouldn't mind having a digital version.

Oh no Mega, Don't forget by buying them you're also ensuring the creators/developers get paid for their product , shame on you :o
The Go is nice Mega, I still have the 1000 and I'd like to pick up a Go sometime

As for borrowing, can't you buy through your PS3 and copy games to any PSP? Atleast I know PS1 games work that way

2nd reply to the normal font:
As long as that PSP Go is attached to that PS3 in terms of ownership. ^_^

I meant a rare UMD title. For a non go model.

The reason the PSP Go would be a very bad choice for me is that I am still using dial-up internet service. :-[ The Go is heavily dependent on downloading huge files which is more like a crash and burn situation on dial-up. Most people I know have dial-up. That is why I purchased a used PSP 1000 in the last couple of weeks, mint condition, for a sweet price. And I do love to hold the case, booklet, and media of the game in my hands. I am odd in that sort-of way.
But I can see where the Go would fit someones needs. It is tiny, more pocket friendly, with no game storage shelf problems. It would just be very hard for me not being able to hold my games and touch them.

I finally saw a PSP Go locally. Only one store has them, K-Mart.

Dial-up?! Holy hell! Where in the world are you!? It's 2010! O.o
I'm in Hillbilly country, ................ Kentucky. ::)
Any fast internet service around here is expensive, especially if you are on a tight budget in these tough economical times. I had to go to antenna for my TV viewing, getting 18 channels all digital, half of them HD. suffering here ::D
