Car chases as in police chases? Nope there's no cops in NFSU2, its just basically import circuit racing, drag, sprint, and drift. One awesome feature about NFSU2 is that you can tune your car to your perferences, I love this and wish it was featured in the first NFSU. I dont like the fact that they added those stupid SUV's in the game, they could of added something else.

Anyways, Need For Speed: Most Wanted should be released next month for PS2 and I'm going to be right there to pick it up. I hope you can tune your car like you can in NFSU2.
 
1. There is tuning, it's just dubbed down a notch. 2. I know there wasn't any police chases in NFSU2. 3. Sorry for any confusion.

What do you mean "dubbed down a notch?"
 
He means NFS:U was all about making your car look good. This time it's about racing in daylight and avoiding cops. You can still customize your car, but not as much as in the underground games. But does it really matter? Most of the tuning you could do in NFS:U2 was pointless anyway. Do we really need fifty differnet rims alone? :? (no, wait, don't answer that.)

Well basically all my cars on NFSU look stock, I just have a basic bodykit, paintjob, exhaust, and rims. All the vinyls, etc I dont put on 'cause I know for a fact that no one really would drive a car with all that junk on it unless your really addicted. I like the tuning in NFSU2, if that feature wasn't in the game then this probally would just be another NFSU with the same cars and different tracks. I think EA should of made NFSU2 alot more realistic than it is now, I mean what car in this world can go 100mph in 3rd gear? I hate how they have the game set like that, they should of had it set like GT3 but with the same face pace.

I dont think NFSMW is going to be on PS3, I checked Gamespot and I see it avaliable on all the other consoles, even Xbox360 but no PS3. NFSMW isn't even playable online for PS2! But yet its playable online for GC, Xbox, and Xbox360..wtf is up with that!? >:(
