Nippon Ichi Software has recently undergone a few financial problems in Japan, but has a plan to recover. The plan’s main focus? PlayStation 3.
NIS originally expected this year’s sales to bring in 1,788 million yen and a profit of 30 million. Although, they’ve now lowered it to sales of 1,131 million yen and a loss of 299 million yen.
Their new recovery plan includes launching eight titles this year — six of which are original. A new Disgaea game on PlayStation 3 is one of them.
PlayStation 3 and North America is also essential to their plan, which means we’ll probably see this new Disgaea sooner rather than later.
