New PS2!

I would like to start by saying that I am not the biggest fan of Sony...however,I know a good deal when I see one.So I had to take advantage of the following situation.........

I stoped by the local EB to see how much the DS screen covers cost...after finding that they had none,I was about to leave when in walks a young man with a bag in his hand, and a scowl on his face. For some reason my treasure hunting instinct kicked in,so I moved in to see what was up.The young man then said to the clerk at the counter that he had to sell his PS2...this was confirmed by the yelling of his mother to hurry up and"get rid of that thing".After fully testing the system the clerk said that he could only give 25 dollars cash on account of the PS2 logo missing....The young man was about to give in to this low price when I steped in and said..."I will give you five more dollars for that".The young man greatfully took the extra five(He did not want to sell his PS2,but his mother was insistent to say the least),and I walked out with a fully functional PS2(with all hook ups,and a controller) for only $30...I also bought the cheapest game I could find which was"Star Ocean:till the end of time"(A random RPG it seems..)for $10. I retested the machine when I got home, and it works perfectly....A decent deal eh?

AWESOME DEAL!!!!

That is a great game. I'm still not on the second disc yet! If you need any help, let me know. Definitely a great game to start off your collection. :D

Good deal man. It's just too bad that a guy's mom can force him to sell off his PS2. he must have done something stupid. Or his mom was the type that should not breed.

2D?

Well....setting aside the 2D part...I'm gonna go ahead and tell you to go out and buy God of War for $20. It's not an RPG....but it's amazing.

My favorite RPG's are Xenosaga, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Arc the Lad: Twighlight of the Spirits, and Final Fantasy X.

I'll have to think about the 2D ones.

Oh brother..so many good games...E-bay is what you're gonna need for some of those old gems. Dragon Warrior 7 for PS1 is a great old style {think SNES} RPG but it's hard as hell to find. Some easier RPG's to find are, Vagrant Story, Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy 7,8,9, Final Fantasy tactics, and Journey West. All those games are for the PS1. There's tons upon tons of RPG's for PS2 so your best bet may be to check out Gamespot.com and check the RPG list for PS2 and see which ones look good to you. Oh and buy or rent this game called Shadow of Collusus, it's friggin spectacular!

holy crap dude... for that price, you could take a baseball bat to it and not feel guilty :D :lol

ok... enough with the jokes... you can't pass up that deal... too good!

Sorry gw.. I'll have an email to you shortly... I am posting from lab, I've been sick since sat and I haven't been here more than 10 min since the AM sat I believe. I'm not aweful sick... I am just tired... it's weird... I slept for 3-4 hours today in the middle of the day.... I normally never do that. I've just been sluggish and tired. I don't get it....

†B†V† :hat

if you like strategy games you sgould try the Kessen series. Most people agree Kessen 2 is the best, and it can be found in bargain bins across the US :D For rpgs, KINGDOM HEARTS. One of my favorite PS2 games. And you can always buy some Final Fantasy games, I hear they're ok :p I wish I had your treasure hunting instinct ::)

I'm sure he wasn't. It's free will for buying/selling... if they have a rule for buying on site (some businesses do) they can just go offsite. Freedom of basic speech.

I would also get GTA:San Andreas. It's hard to describe it, it's just so fun to play. Probably because there's so much to do (and kill ::))
