New X-files Movie!!

ok... I am a big fan of the X-files series. Late last year, it was announced that a new X-files movie featuring MUlder and Scully was in the works.

More news/information has come out now... I will try to dig some of that up for those interested.

Who is going to go see this movie? Any other X-files fans out there?

Love the X-files. Disliked the way the series ended up. I didn't particularly like the Doggett part of the series. I'd rather have Scully and Mulder. Glad they are doing another movie, I will be sure to watch out for this one.
 
Yeah this project has been spoken of, since 2 years after the movie was done. I'm glad there is some solid ground evidence now.

You know... I would have agreed on this when the series was running.

BUT... while Mulder and Scully were the X-files... hands down, I liked some of the episodes with Doggett and Reyes (and also scully).

I don't know... I was very critical of season 9 (I liked season 8)... but now that I have watched every episode back to back (yes, I did that over the last 1 1/2 years), I like seasons 8 and 9 as well.

They were just as clever as before... and what made me like it even more, they never stopped "looking for" or "working with" Mulder. Even when he was in hiding...

I guess I dig the entire series.

Well, I think they had to have Dogget part..wasn't that in the later ones? Cuz at one point David refused to work on the episodes unless they filmed in a dif location and payed him more er something like that..so then Mulder was not in the shows for awhile (cuz he was being a punk) .lol. Now...if he were really Mulder..he would have been willing to work in any location and prolly even for free just to get the truth out there. lol

I am going to see the movie. I believe it comes out July 25th, right? That is the last I heard anyways.

I still want to own the entire series too, but it is like 250 used...waaaaaaaa!

It was the best TV show ever in my opinion.

I think it was the chemistry between Mulder and Scully that I liked in the series. I think that would have to agree with you, that there were some good episodes there in the Doggett years. I had a hard time excepting change, I guess. It has been a while since they have played those characters, I hope that there is nothing lost in this new movie.
