Returning from commercial during tonight's Oscar awards broadcast, Jon Stewart was seen playing Wii Sports. Whether or not Nintendo put the Academy up to it (i.e. paid for the spot) or Stewart simply wanted to capitalize on the console's cultural significance, this was fantastic exposure -- 1 billion people worldwide watch the show.

Do you think Nintendo would have paid for that? I don't think Iwata would know the significance of the Oscars, but maybe Reggie would.

Amazing, Nintendo at the Oscars..and the first time a video game is shown at the Oscars.
