Story:
Like any other Prince of Persia game, you play as "The Prince". Your traveling through the desert trying to find your donkey when you bump into Elika, a Ahura princess. It turns out Elika is trying to stop the evil Ahriman from releasing the darkness. Thanks to Elika's dad, the king, Ahriman is released and is spreading darkness through out the land. Now its up to The Prince and Elika to travel beyond the deserts, restore the lands, and destroy "The Corrupted".
The story can get difficult to figure out since Elika gives you ALOT of detal about the corrupted and her past. At points you need to talk to her when a little icon appears and it gets kinda annoying, but the conversation goes from dead serious to actually really funny.
Graphics:
This game looks amazing. I've never seen a game look this good in a while. The art stlye is way different from other games and the environment is breath taking. All of the colors match perfectly which adds a more closer depth. I'll just post up this clip so you can decide: (this also deals with my story category).

Gameplay:
Each time you beat a mini boss, Life Seeds will appear through out the restored land that will help Elika gain more power. This will give you added upgrades to jump, fly and glide. The Prince will mostly jump, wall run, climb, and fall in his adventure. There will be times where you have to fight some bad guys and The Corrupted with your trusty sword (that you dont use often). A button to jump, B is the action button, X is to attack but only when your in fighting mode, and Y is to call Elika.
You never die in this game. The Prince is always saved by Elika when he falls down a cliff or when he gets attacked too much. Also there is no time travel. I've never played any of the Prince of Persia games (only a demo from the first one) so I figured I would have to go back time, slow it, or fast foward but i guess they took that out a long time ago.
Ok, now the fighting. It's kinda boring. You dont fight every 5 mins. not even every 10 mins. only if your lucky to spot a bad guy appear. After jumping and wall climbing, you finally reach a mini boss and get prepared to battle. The Prince will get into "attack mode" where the environment will feel like a circle and you move.....really....slow. Once in attack mode, the A button is for acrobatic moves, X for sword attacks, B for grabbing, RT to guard, and Y for some Aura power from Elika. The combos are pretty cool in the beginning but performing them again and again get kinda boring and simple.

Overall:
My first Prince of Persia game, I pictured a blend of fighting and exploring but I was wrong. The fighting could have been better, maybe add some challenging elements since you dont die in this game, and why cant you slow down time or speed it up? These are some problems that "I" had; so I hope none of you will get mad at me. Back to the good news. Doing wall runs and climbing from one place to the next never gets old and its also my favorite. The open world environment is really big, about the same size as Liberty City. The game looks beautiful. I didnt talk about music since you dont hear it often. Only when your enter a fight or when your approching a boss. The Price reminds me of Jiraya from Naruto (only the voice.....I think its the same guy).
My Score & Grade:
This game is for people that want to go out and explore while jumping off of things or climbing them. Its still fun to play but maybe its too easy for some gamers so I'll give this game:
B
7/10
