Prince of Persia series?

i have around $50 laying around, and iv been thinking of investing in this entire series. i would probably get them either used, or half of them used for under $50 easy. do you guys recommend them?

EDIT - not the entire series, just the three most recent ones
 
The three most recent are the three most recent. Ignore the second unless you find it really cheap.
 
the three most recent ones:

prince of persia - the sands of time
prince of persia - warrior within
prince pf persia - the two thrones (there is a wii remake of this one called Rival swords, but that doesnt count)

So your not at all interested in the old ones from the 80's? You could probably download them for free and they were great for their time.

As for the 3 most recent, I heard they're great, plus they're developed by Ubisoft Montreal and they've got the Midas Touch when it comes to games.
 
Sands of Time is the only one I've played. I loved what I played of it, but I became completely stuck on an early puzzle. Still own the game actually so maybe I'll go back to it one day.
 
Get the Two Thrones, for PS2. I rented it, and it was pretty good. Great cinematics, the whole game looks like a movie. I don't know about the others though.
