That's right! Tonight's episode of the Simpsons made a reference to one of the classic Professor Layton puzzles!
Homer tried to get across the river. He had Maggie in his arms, Santa's Little Helper the Dog, and a bottle of Rat Poison he needs to clean out his house of a rat problem...he couldn't get across the river since the boat provided was too light and homer is too heavy with all 3 of the following objects. "Can someone help me?" he says and Prof. Frink is on the other side of the river.
Well needless to say, he accidentally knocked out Prof Frink by throwing a "rat poison pellet" into his mouth while trying to gain his attention lol
He runs into Cletus the Slack-Jawed yokel on his way over, whom has a very familiar situation as well. A Duck, a Fox, and a bag of corn need to get across the river. The fox ate the duck and the bag of corn :lol
