Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
It's the rumor that just won't die. Nearly a year after the Xbox 360 motion controller was seemingly debunked, Endgadget has a tip from "someone who purports to be in the know" that Microsoft is still very much in the motion sensing game. And this time, the rumor is even wilder than before.
According to the tipster, Microsoft is building a "sensor bar" that detects full body movement and sound. In other words, being able to move around and control the action without the help of a controller.
The tipster has "no idea" how it actually works, but there will apparently be two sensors, a mic and a camera.
This setup will apparently be able to pick up full body and gesture control, including small gestures like pinching, grabbing and scrolling. Other features include video conferencing and a trivia game in which players clap to buzz in
Where's the patent? Wii60 Controller!
