Shenmue 1 & 2 Plus, and Shenmue 3 for the 360!

One of the most popular franchises for the Sega Dreamcast. It's graphics were way ahead of it's time. After Shenmue 2, Shenmue 3 was rumored to come out shortly after, but never came.

Mega explains the story via AIM:

Mega1: Shenmue is the story of Ryu Sazuki...his father was murdered by a Chinese man
Mega1: this chinese man, accused Ryu's father of stealing an acient stone table
Mega1: one of the dragon and he had the other, which is the tiger
Mega1: these stones have a deep history and secret
Mega1: so Ryu searches all over Japan for this man
Mega1: and finds out that he has escaped back to Hong Kong so Shenmue II takes place in Hong Kong
Mega1: he comes SO close to finding the man who murdered his dad
Mega1: so the story shifts but Ryu finds both stone tablets

Cool, guess I better call Game Crazy and place a preorder, I keep $20 or so on my account cause when I am in there I always forget what I wanted, this way I just pick up the phone and call it in ;)

i always remember this game looking awesome, and immersive with a real living world, that seemed fully intereactive.

PLEASE DONT BE $50!

The original Shenmue is the game I played most on my Dreamcast, even more than Code Veronica and KoF. Looking forward to replaying the first game again (my DC quit out a few years ago), as well as digging into the sequels. I enjoyed the interactions with people in various towns, and the story was top notch. I never knew being an amateur detective could be so much fun. Despite the fighting mechanic I couldn't quite master this is still one of those games (the original) where watching the credits roll brings with it a genuine sense of accomplishment. Good times... :)

Hey guys, how's it going? Got a bit of an update that's pretty sad news about this link I provided. Apparently it was made by a fan from Japan. So it's pretty much vaporware (does not exist) unless Sega of Japan actually says ANYTHING this August at the Tokyo Game Show.
