So I was playing Resident Evil 4 today...

... and actually switched off the damn thing since I was bored. I mean I even have Resident Evil books, and yet I got bored of this game? Something's seriously wrong here. RE used to be about survival, horror, great story and all that. In RE4 you just fight monster after monster after monster after monster after... you get the idea. It's just so boring! Anyone else feel like this? It's just very disappointing.

Well, uh, after like 6 games that are clones of each other change is good. Not as scary, true, but niether were the others. The plot of the whole series is so convoluted now I don't think it's humanly possible to fix it.

I do agree with the monster after monster thing. I know they were going for a more frantic style of gameplay, but sometimes it does get ridicolous.
