Tats

Who has tats? Who plans to get tats at some point? What kinda tats do you have or wanna get? What kinda tats do you think look really awesome? Do you dislike tats? If so, why?

I don't have any yet, but I want some really bad.

My husband was working on one for our wedding as a gift to me. He had it basically done by the wedding, but he still has some more finishing details to do on it. It is of a wolf headwith a lil bunny beside it kinda reaching up (the wolf representing his spirit animal and the bunny representing mine) and it will have our wedding date near the bottom an the rabbit will be reaching towards some blue orchids. Kinda hard describing all this. Haha.

Another tat I know for sure I wanna get is a dragon on my thigh. I think I have always wanted a dragon tat ever since that one scene in the Crow where that woman in the shower has a dragon tat on her back (cept I want mine on my thigh)

I found a figurine/statue in a comic book store the other year (way too pricey to actually buy it) and its still there and I look at her every time I go there, cuz I just love her tats.

Below are a couple pics of designs my husband drew on me to get the feel of how tats of that sort would look. It's kinda nice to be able to wear stuff around to see if it feels like it suits you before making it permanent.

Never been a big fan of them, but I think I might get one around my left wrist. Something simple, like a pattern you'd see on a bracelet or something like that. Just something to cover the scars. I'd like to just be able to forget about them and all that went on when I got them.

Do you think a tat would sort of cover and erase them type feel? Er do you think it would draw attention to those memories in your head moreso? Sometimes I think about getting tats to distract from scars, but then I think maybe it will just draw even more attention to the scar.

By the way, does my post look normal to you er funny, cuz on my scren it has my main post and on top of it there is like part of my post and the pics, almost like a double post only the whole thing is not reposted, just part.

My sister in law wants to get some plain bands on her wrist er arm, sorta like bracelets. It could be what u are thinking of. She saw a tat like it in a movie that I can't recall the name of. I camn't think up stuff good at moment but it was a sad movie where a guys wife er gf dies and the main guy was played by actor who plays wolverine and I feel like the movie had to do with time travel. Hmmm, anyhow his character had lots of plain bands almost like stripes made out of lil bricks and solid bars going up his arm.

I would not want stripes, unless they were like blue tiger stripes but I like that people have different tastes and opinions and get different things...variety

Well, I wear loads of bracelets right now... They get in the way a lot of the time now. Of course, if I cover them up, I still know they're there, but looking right at them is always worse. Seems to trigger the worst memories... The hardest nights. I'll never completely forget, but it would be nice for them to be not so apparent.
I also hate it when other people draw attention to them. That's why I wear bracelets. Whenever someone notices the scars, they seem intent on talking about it. It's just something I don't like to talk about. I would much rather talk about a tattoo.

I see, then I guess a tat might be a good idea becuz bracelets are sorta a hassle to put on all the time and they can slide around and then stuff might sow, but I can see how it might be better to cover em up if people tend to use it as a conversation starter :s

Have u ever tried those bracelet things that are sorta like a swat band er workout thing? I cannot think of what they arecalled but they are wide and stretchy and stay put and I have one with like pacman type stuff on it and my cuz has a one up one so they can be cool styles and sometimes when I wanted to cover up marks on my wrists in the past, I would wear em becuz then they do not slide around and noone will ask me about them

Never had one, but thought about getting some. I like to make bracelets though, I usually have a lot. At any given time I'm wearing my watch and a rubber LiveStrong bracelet, lately I've been wearing soda tab bracelets.
And also, yeah, the first post is wonky. I think it has something to do with the long link you posted, but I don't know enough to really give you a solid answer or how to fix it.

Oh that works out good It's cool that u like making bracelets. Thats a neat hobby

Yeah, I used to make them out of rope, or yarn, or string, and just braid it... But the soda tab idea came to me one day and I started doing that. People love them, I make them all the time.

That is really cool, and that people like m and u could give as gifts etc is neat too. I used to make the braided friendship bracelet kind of bracelets a long time ago. I need to go now and transfer stuff to memory sticks cuz my pc is acting screwy and I gotta try and fix it.
