Two New DS Lite Bundles Announced for Black Friday

Nintendo's making a final push to indoctrinate the rest of the world's pet-deprived tweens and twenty-something geeks, according to a new Sears ad. Come "Black Friday," two more DS Lite models will hit retail ($150 ea.), each branded and bundled with a corresponding game.

There's the metallic pink Pound Puppies Nintendogs case, complete with (bloody?) paw print and game -- which reminds us, Spot hasn't been fed in about two years ... Anyways, moving on: there's also the gold-sprayed Zelda unit, (spotted a few weeks ago and) bundled with Phantom Hourglass, featuring the Triforce logo for those of us not quite ready for the more-permanent expression of our faith.

I haven't gotten Phantom Hourglass yet, and I need a new DS.

I am SO going to get that Triforce one.

I wonder if they will be available anywhere other than Sears, though. If Wal-Mart's going to have them I can try to get someone to hook me up.
 
The #1 rule of Black Friday -- if you REALLY want it and there's at least a good quantity of it/you actually try, you'll get it.

and in my case, you will have to beat a lady down for it (like last year.....)
 
Oh man, this is just like the gold SP back in 2003. Back then, there was a golden SP model with Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. and getting one was like fighting the entire PERSIA army...
