Two questions...

1. Earlier today, I was playing Tiger Woods. All of a sudden, the game froze and made a weird noise. Now, this has never happened to me before, so is it something I should be worried about? Is it just the game, or is it the system? I took the game out, and saw a ring around it. This happened to me with Madden, but it never froze or anything (Not that I can remember, anyways).

2. I recently got Xbox Live Gold, but I haven't hooked it up yet. Anyways, I have a gamerprofile right now, but I want to make a new one. Is there a way I could load some or all of the games from my original profile to my new one? Thanks.

If it has a ring around it, that means the system most likely got moved / bumped while you were playing the game. That happened with a friend's Perfect Dark Zero and the game was unplayable after that.

Yeap, aleeock knows about the "ring of death". I've had to get 3 PS2 games buffered because of this stupid ring. It can happen even if you just slightly bump your console, or maybe pull the controller cord too hard/trip over it. If you know for certain you didn't bump your 360 than keep a good eye on game disks to check for wear and tear that shouldn't be there. I've heard of a few similar problems with the 360 about games getting scratched up for no reason. So, if it happens again, it's the console at fault.
