This is back in the NES v.s. Master System/SNES v.s. Genesis days obviously.

I was Nintendo, but that pretty much came down to only really owning a NES and later on a SNES as when you're little you don't get to earn money and buy them all. So I had to choose. I did like the Genenis and much later on bought myself a cheap Master System, but I always thought the Nintendo consoles had better games.

Well, I had a NES, but then later I had a Genesis. I played my Genesis a lot more though, so I'd say I was a Sega kid. It's kind cool though, cuz now I play Snes a lot more and it's all new to me.

I only ever had Nintendo systems up until about 2 years ago, when I purchased my PS2. And of course the beginning of this year, when I bought Xbox.

I had a Genesis, which I did enjoy, but I had always wanted a SNES because I wanted to play LoZ and Super Mario World. For a while my cousin lived with us and she had a SNES so I didn't have to get my own, but when she left I was totally bummed out. My grandma ended up buying a refurbished SNES for about $70 and the guy tossed in a copy of Link to the Past for me. I didn't really buy any games. I just rented a lot. Most of the games I did buy were used. The only game I bought brand new was Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, and that was because I couldn't find it used and I really wanted it.

I was a "Nintendo guy," but my friend was a "Sega guy." So, he'd play SNES a lot with me at my house, and I'd play Genesis with him at his. So I got the best of both systems!

I had a Nintendo up until the Sega Saturn, which broke down and was traded for a PSX. I want my Saturn back!
