Frontloader. It's the original, man. My NES has been through so much crap and yet it still works. I'm constantly amazed.

the toploader is awesome

It has the reliability of the snes!
but the frontloader is good as well... as it is the classic

I've heard that the toploader had slightly lower resolution on the graphics than the frontloader, but didn't have the annoying occasional "blue screen of death".

I have the front loader.
Yanno, some of you guys have trouble with getting it to work?? get a new 72 pin connector. They are dirt cheap and it takes 20 minutes to install. I bought one on Ebay. Mine runs perfectly now.

yea? thats pretty cool. I am actually going to start carrything these at around $7-8.

They have helped 1 nes of mine so far... and are pretty nice

Nope. Nothing more than about two dozen phillips screws. When I put mine in, I didn't even have instructions. So it's easy.
