What The Heck Does That Mean?

What's Up Gamers,

This is a little embarrassing,seeing how it's 2008 and all,and I should know this stuff,but could someone give me a list with regards to what some Internet Slang words and Abbreviations mean?It might save some people,myself included from wasting space by asking people to define some of these terms.It might also encourage Newbies to stick around the Forum,that way they not feel like they are in over their heads and perhaps feel more comfortable talking to other members.

To be truthful,when I first joined the Forum,and even sometimes now I feel like a Junior High School point guard in Basketball being asked to play in the NBA.Anyway,I just thought I'd run that by you members to see what your take is on the subject.

Well, what internet slang words and abbreviations do you not understand? We could probably just cover some of them in this thread.

Personal favorite of mine.
 
tbh = to be honest
ttfn = ta ta for now
ttyl = talk to you later
wth = what the heck
w/e = whatever

Those are some that I can think of.
 
A few that gave me trouble at first were:

AFAIK - As Far As I Know
IIRC - If I Recall Correctly
RTFM - Read The F'n Manual

The Internet can be an unfriendly place to the uninitiated.

idk=i dont know
brb= be right back
rofl= roll on the floor laughing... or something like that... ok im done saying this. :)
