What's Your Opinion On "Modding" Consoles/Burning CD'S And DVD'S?

Although I can see why they do it,I also think it's extremely foolish.I'm not sure,but I think if you mod your console,going online becomes a thing of the past.I think Microsoft and Sony can tell if a system running online is modded.Lastly,do we know of any possible problems that can occur in the future,besides your warranty meaning absolutely nothing?

Lastly,do you have the same feelings about burning music and movies? Or do you not consider that to be as serious legal offense?

I don't burn or mod anything, with the exception of burning MY music recordings, which is perfectly legal.
 
What Are Your Thoughts With Respect To Those Into "Modding" Consoles

Myself,I wouldn't dare.You never know what disharmony you could be setting yourself and your console later in life.
