Hi People.

When you were younger, did any of your folks sweat you about playing too much video games?

I used to get so ticked off at my "Coleco",that the old man would take away my controllers.
I own a "PS3" now,back with a vengeance!!.

Godspeed.

Nope, my father always encouraged any form of new technology. He thought I would grow out of it, until about 10 years ago he saw profit in it finally lol

I bought my dad Zelda III: Link to the Past for one of his birthdays.

I bought my parents a Gamecube with the Zelda Collector's Disk for Christmas.

My mom can beat you at Mario Kart: Double Dash.

Yeah, my parents sweat me about video games... :P

Nah, not too bad. But I might have to get glasses soon so I'm 99.7% sure video games are the cause. xD

I can't remember if the did... >_<

But I don't think so. My dad plays games himself. Mum doesn't care for them.

My Father used to lock me in a closet and beat me mercifully if he caught me playing video games when I was not supposed to. That was a joke, if you didn't figure that out... But no, my parents actually got me into games. My Dad used to have his stoner friends over playing Atari, and then some years later they got a NES for Xmas. Those memories are very clear and vivid to me. I cherish them!

There were no video games when I was a kid. :'(
I was a teen when "Pong" became available for the home. A friend of mine down the street got one and we were only allowed to play on an older TV in another room, because his dad felt that I would ruin the TV. Which It would. Back then it would burn the image onto the TV tube.

People still worry about that now, mainly with the logo's stuck in the corner for TV channels (which is why it's faded to prevent that lol)
