who had bad storms last night?

just curious :)

we were supposed to, but it just missed us and weakened before it hit us around 9-10 pm last night.

Anyone else have bad weather?

We're in a Tornado watch and Severe T-Storm Warning right now, so I'm hoping I'll get to see some of nature's fireworks at some point tonight. I used to be terrified of storms, but now I'm looking forward to a good thumping by mother nature.
 
we got hit with it... our power got knocked out for around 15 hours.. and there saying not everyone may get theirs back until the beginning of next week

i think they estimated around 100+ power lines got blown over o_0
 
Well, we got some lightning, only one really BOOM-ing one though, and we got some rain, no tornadoes though...

cruisin' around in the puddles afterward with the windows down was fun though!
 
When I lived in Virginia, our power was out for over a full day. :o It was the middle of winter, so we had to go shopping or we would've frozen.
 
Our power has been knocked out for days in winter here. We had a fireplace so heat was never a big problem, and we stuck out in the snow whatever needed to be kept cool, so it wasn't really that big a deal. However, a couple of my friends live on farms, who's water systems rely on the use of power, that includes bathrooms. Not a very pretty image. As well, they were running out of food because the amount of snow prevented them from driving into town, and by the end were down to eating bread and drinking water made out of melted snow.
 
Bah! Farmers, they complain all the time anyway, so it probably wasn't as bad as he made it out to be. First they complain about no rain, then there's too much rain, I mean, make up your mind already!
