Why are companies moving away from Linux to Windows

I'm sort of in IT, but I am biased towards Windows. What confuses me is with 2.6.29 kernel which is pretty fancy with EXT4 and Global File System v2 support; why won't Linux take over the servers. In 2014, will Windows 8.0 still have a large superiority over Fedora Linux (all the Linux fanatics who call themselves Techies are biased towards Red Hat these days <-- Made in the USA)?

What makes Windows Server 2008 (or just plain Windows 2003) better on server side anyway? I just heard it's more secure than Linux...not more stable...more secure.

From what I was hearing, EXT4 isn't that stable despite the fact that it's superior file system.

The only thing I can think of why companies are sticking with Windows is for IT support and compatibility with other Windows machines.
