Would It Be Worth It For Square-Enix Re-Create "FF7"

Hi People!

I'm sitting here playing "FF XII" and I'm wondering,would it be worth the trouble for Square-Enix to overhaul "FF 7" and soup it up with today's graphics and other available new technologies.?My guess is a lot of people would buy it.What do you think?

A lot of fanboys would buy it, and I wouldn't even poke it with a stick. It's one of those games on my "never should be remade" list.
 
I guess I wouldn't really care either way. Truth be told, I did not enjoy FF7 nearly as much as I was led to believe I should have. I honestly like FF9 heaps and gobs more than FF7.
 
Even if they remade it without fixed camera I'd want to buy it. Squeenix though is notorious for weird cameras.....
 
I'm not going to lie. I would probably buy it, and enjoy it more than I did the original, just because of the upgraded graphics. Tifa in Advent Children-like hotness would be worth it alone! :lol
 
I'd buy it. Mostly because I haven't played FFVII. It expensive on ebay and friends who have it will not let me borrow it or buy it from them. I should burn their houses down... :D
 
It'd probably be worth it for Square-Enix, considering the immense fanbase for FF7. It wouldn't be worth it for me, though, because I'd rather see them working on new projects.
 
By new projects, Asii, you must mean like working on Kingdom Hearts 3 for the PS3, the only plausible excuse they could have for not remaking FF7!

From a financial perspective, maybe.
