X-Edge (Capcom and NIS) JRPG is coming to American PS3 in March!

NIS America just made Christmas for JRPG fans in North America, revealing that the PlayStation 3 exclusive RPG mashup Cross Edge will be making it's way across the pond in March.

Cross Edge, or X-Edge, is every JRPG fans' wet dream, combining characters from Nippon Ichi, Gust, Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Idea Factory into one gigantic, Compile Heart developed RPG. The plot? I don't care. Seriously. I could care less why I get to play Disgaea's Etna and Darkstalkers Felicia in one game. I am completely satisfied with the fact that I can, and after that I can dress them in different outfits. Glee!

Ive already added it to my list. The videos on youtube for this game are so exciting (well the ones that arent distorted by youtubes dumb widescreen mode thingy). Massive massive combos.

This is nearly as exciting as hearing that Disgaea 2 is coming to PSP
 
I'll buy it only, because it should be #1 or #2 on Gamerankings so I can keep up with mainstream culture.

I never rent videogames. It's to cumbersome to go back and forth all the time.

Wonder what it will be worth in 2015? $50?
 
Siliconera has postponed the US release date of the PS3 simulation RPG Cross Edge from March to May 19, 2009. The reason is to add Trophies support to the game according to NIS America, a feature that is not in the Japanese version.

Yeah, ive been looking at videos online for this game thus far. Dont forget that the official release date was announce to be May 24th.

Oh looks like we have an English Trailer now. I love the music. Unfortunately I wont be able to pick this up until Mid August, but Im hyped for it.

Can someone sum it up why this game is awesome. I don't see it. :-[

2.5D for PS3, the most powerful console this gen and it's very anticipated.

because is a combination of the greatest JRPG companies and also because some people consider that art style to be very cool (i do think it looks very cool)
 
BAsically, the game has this impressive combo system in which you can, as long as your time remains, link up to do combos in excess of the hundreds, and it has tons of characters from various universess.
