Could someone clear this up for me

If you already have xbox live, is your account still valid on the 360 or do you have to register a new one?

its still valid as xbox live GOLD. you have the option to transfer

between gold and silver? yea but gold is better so you have nothing to worry about. go to xbox.com for the difference.

Regular Xbox Xbox Live Account = Xbox 360 Gold Account

Just transfer it over, its fast and easy.

If you have XBOX Live already and want to move your account to the 360, all you have to do is account recovery. It automatically gives you a Gold account.

Well I guess I have a free month of XBL. I played Texas Hold'em and Prey online last night. Its so much fun. Once my month exprires Im definitely getting XBL.
